About BCTC
Building Community Thru Conversation - Empowering meaningful dialogue and fostering connections.
Our Story
Founded by four Jewish women in October, Building Community Thru Conversation (BCTC) emerged from a recognition that meaningful dialogue can bridge divides and build understanding across generations and communities.
We started with a simple idea: create safe, inclusive spaces where people can come together to have honest, respectful conversations about identity, inclusion, antisemitism, and social justice.
Today, BCTC has grown into a grassroots movement that empowers communities to educate, connect, and build bridges through conversation. We've facilitated hundreds of conversations, touching lives across multiple locations.
Our Mission
BCTC Talks was created to be a resource for grassroots programming that empowers the community to educate on identity, inclusion, antisemitism, and social justice.
With hands-off coordination and meaningful education for all, we facilitate conversations on current issues, diversity, and inclusion in community spaces. Our mission is to empower communities to gather together in conversation, building more inclusive spaces where every voice can be heard.
We are committed to creating diverse community building, fighting against antisemitism, and strengthening partnerships across diverse global contexts, building peace in a fast polarization setting.
